A crawler is an internet “searchbot” which the artist used to collect comments or questions about the global pandemic and other timely topics (including artificial intelligence, climate change and gender). Some of these phrases are projected on to the Cowshed; the phrases increase and decrease in size as they respond to the colonial achitecture. Crawler was first presented at Kunstmuseum Gelsenkirchen in Germany during the first lock down in April 2020.
